AACOMAS says, "The colleges will see your personal statement exactly as you enter it in the box below."

When I copy and paste my PS into the AACOMS text box from MS Word, the indentations for each paragraph do not appear and it is single spaced (while being double-spaced in Word). It looks painful to read in the AACOMAS text box because it is a huge wall of text where the entire PS looks like one paragraph.

Should I submit as it appears in the text box, or should I manually make changes to add indents (tab button doesn't work so I would have to use space bar on it). I don't think the single space can be helped. Further, I am almost at the character limit and I don't even think I can do anything about it.

Also I heard that if you copy & paste with MS Word, it might not copy properly. Should I first copy it to Notepad and then copy it to AACOMAS text box?

The way it looks in the box isn't really how it looks. Click on the application summery (at the top of the page I think) and it will give you a realistic view. Mine looked a lot better than in the box.

Nope, even in the summary, my PS doesn't have indents. I don't like the way it looks. What should I do?

There is no way to put indents into the format that I know of, plus this would add characters and since you only have 4500 characters max I wouldnt use spaces either. Dont sweat it, everyone's is going to look the same.

Okay, I'll submit it without indents and single spaced. Thanks for the affirmation. I'll try to have peace of mind.:scared: I did have to press "enter" between paragraphs though because it was all clumped together like it was one paragraph.
