I asked for all of my LORs about a month or so ago. On the sheet that my Pre-med advisor gave me to give to my LOR writers, it said to have all of the letters in by July 1st. My MCAT date is May 19th so I'll have my score in by June 20th. I was planning on submitting my application in early June, but do I have to wait for my MCAT score and my letters to be done before I can submit my application? I want to submit my application as early as possible, so I just want to make sure I can still do that with the MCAT score and LOR coming in a little later.

Thanks in advance!

You don't need either to submit your app to be verified within AMCAS. Without an MCAT score, though, making a school list might be difficult for you and I wouldn't submit until you have your score.

If I'm not mistaken, you can just apply to one school to get your app in line for verification. You can add schools accordingly after your MCAT score comes back.

Just to expand, AMCAS Primary application verification and processing is separate from AMCAS Letter Service. They are separate functions

An applicant should never, ever, apply to medical school without having an MCAT score expect to a single school solely for verification. The school can be either a throwaway school where you will never be accepted (OOS) or better is a high reach school that is ace the MCAT you might have a shot
I think we're in agreement here.

I'd just submit June 20th or the following few days to an appropriate list of places, tbh. You'll still be verified for transmission in the first couple days possible (June 30th or first few days of July).
