Hey everybody,

I havent applied to the AADSAS yet and am planning to do in a couple of days. But my transcripts have to come from a foreign university and so it may be the end of June by the time AADSAS gets them. So is it too late by then. What are my chances of getting in?
Apart from that, because I have a degree from a foreign univeristy, is applying to 14 schools too much/many? Or should I apply first for a 7-8 and then depending on my DAT scores apply to some more? I have just taken my pre-requisites in US.
What do you guys think about my situation? Any advice...............

Thanks in advance.

You have to get your transcripts from foreign university evaluated by one of the AADSAS recommended evaluation services (which is on AADSAS website). If your transcripts are not in English, you have to also get them translated into English first. The dental schools will look at your evaluated transcripts as it establishes a standard GPA and give them a better idea of where you stand.
You are not too late as long as you can get your transcripts and get them evaluated.
About the schools, you have to really see what your evaluated GPA is and most likely what the DAT score is. Also, Adcom will pay more attention to your pre-req GPA which you have taken in U.S. Also talk to the schools you are interested in. I hope this helps.
