I have a question about the online application. Under the "required courses" section, can I use any 8-12 hours of biology courses? If so, should I use the bio courses I've taken with the highest grades or the courses that have the most merit?

Also I have 3.55 cGPA and a 3.48 sGPA, but I haven't taken the MCAT yet. Can I get an interview before taking the MCAT?

You can put any biology classes with higher grades as long as they have labs included. I am not sure about interviewing without MCAT score but you must have a score for them to accept you.

My stats were roughly the same as yours. I applied to 4 schools and was invited to all 4 interviews. I have not taken the MCAT yet.

OK thanks. Did they ask you when you will be taking it or why you haven't taken it?

I think there is somewhere on the application that you can indicate when you are planning to take the test. They might ask at some schools...I'm not sure, I've only had one interview of the four I was invited to. (Boo for living in the middle of nowhere and having hella expensive travel costs.)

Hey I had a little higher GPA (3.7) but got into all the schools I applied with no MCAT (including DMU, CSPM, Scholl, etc). They asked why during the interview and when I was planning on taking the exam. Schools accepted me, gave scholarships, and wrote on the acceptance letter the minimum score I needed on the MCAT (it ranged from 16-20). Majority of schools just wanted an overall score while one program wanted a minimum number in each section of the MCAT.

Hope this information helps. I encourage you to apply ASAP.
