From my understanding of what I was advised by the TMDSAS, anything that has a BIOL and MATH suffix will be counted as other sciences. BUT I was also told that any classes that are non-science major (e.g. Calculus for Business) will not be counted as science class UNLESS it was taught in the Math department (meaning it has a MATH suffix).

That seems odd that Biology would be considered an "other science"
I can see things like geology/oceanography being an "other science"
I am not doing my coursework yet so I haven't looked at this particular section. Gonna let the rush die down, judge from everyone complaining about lag.

There are two categories for science courses: Sciences and Other Sciences.
Science: Incorporate all the pre-requisite courses i.e. Biology I & II, Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, and Physics I & II.
Other Sciences: Incorporates every science class with a suffix Biol and Math that is not one of the above mentioned science courses. Ex. Anatomy and Physiolgy, BioChemistry, Microbiology, Calculus I & II, etc...
I am still kind of confused about the courses though. I took Calculus for Business major and I was advised before that it will not be included in my science GPA. I contacted TMDSAS and I was advised since the calculus class was taught in the Math department and the suffix is MATH it will be counted under the 'other science' GPA regardless if the school recognized it for non-science major, because TMDSAS has their own criteria. At the same time, I was advised that the analyzer who look over the transcript to calculate the GPA at TMDSAS also does his research (ask schools may be) to determine what courses are recognized as science and non sciences.
This is my understanding of the courses work based on the information I have received. Correct me if I am wrong.
