well, i know on sats if your in the 99% percentile, that means that you did better on the sat's than 99% of the other testtakers, so i assume that 90 and above would be better....right?
Yep, that is correct. They are asking for percentile rank, not direct class rank. The higher the better.
By the way, I don't know why that question is even on the application since it is of no use to admission committees, and there really isn't any logical way to verify the applicants' response. I'm fairly sure that most everybody marks the two highest catergories.
