Hey everybody!!
Yes, I am still working on the application primarily due to the fact that I was planning on applying next cycle but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. My first question (because I am sure I will have more) is the following: after filling in the coursework, does it provide an AADSAS GPA? Where should I look for that or do I have to calculate that?

One more thing...

Is there a good source to turn to for information regarding the dental school application process? My career center doesnt seem to have any information, although they have more than necessary "Med School" app preparation seminars... there just isn't enough respect!!!!

The AADSAS computes the following G.P.A's for you:

Science G.P.A
Overall G.P.A. with + and -
Overall G.P.A. without + and -
Biology, Physics, Chemistry (BCP) G.P.A.

It is not necessary for you to compute anything.

All of these computations will be mailed back to you from AADSAS.

Regarding app. process, check AADSAS website, also check the individual school's dental websites for more detailed, specific info.

There is a book out there from ADA i think about general info about each school too, but i think the more current info is on the web.

Does your school have a dental student group? these groups also have lots of great info speficic to dentistry..
