Hi everybody

First Question:
In the course work section of the application. In the box where you put the course number from your University it only allows you to put 6 characters (example CRS100) but my school course numbers contain 7 characters (example CHM1045). How should i fill this in?

Second question:
In putting the grades you have recieved in classes i notice that the scale they give goes up to A+. In my school the highest grade that anyone can recieve is an A. Does this affect how they calculate your science GPA.

You go to a Florida school don't you? I just ask because i graduated from FSU and took CHM1045. Anyways, just put the first 6 characters and don't worry about the 7th. Also don't worry about the A+ thing because when AADSAS recalculates your GPA they leave out +/-. Hope this helps!

LOL yup I go to FIU. Thanks for the feedback JRogoff.

No problem. So you going to be applying to Nova?

so they leave out +/-?? so GPA that I would calculate would be somewhat different than what they will calculate, then? how would that work? kinda confusing.
on the application process, is it really important which name I choose for course work? I mean, I chose Kinetic for mechanics class because I couldn't find any.

Actually, when you get your AADSAS confirmation sheet, it'll have a GPA with +/- grades, and one without +/- grades. I think the choice of which GPA to consider is up to each dental school. Seems a little goofy to me to throw out all the pluses and minuses, but I guess some prefer it that way.

I had two A+'s (easy math classes) in a quarter a couple years ago, and AADSAS calculated my GPA as 4.33 for that quarter. I don't know what year Typo's application was. But in my AADSAS confirmation sheet (2004) there was only one GPA; the one with +/-

Sorry, but i did leave out that they do give both GPAs, one with +/- and one without. It would make sense to me that schools look at the one without because it put everyone on the same scale for the most part. This is just my theory, you might want to ask the schools you are applying to if they'll tell you.

KrebsPsycho....
I also applied in 2004 and my confirmation sheet had 2 GPAs, one with +/- and one without.
