Hi everyone, I'm applying this summer and I had a few questions and I was hoping some of you might have the answer...

- Do we contact the schools that we need transcripts sent from and give then the address of where to send it to? Also, I read on the PharmCas website that there is a form that may be useful in attaching with our transcripts. How do we get that form to the transcript senders?

- When we are doing LORs, does PharmCas directly send an email to those professors that are doing it online, or do they send them the email after we submitting our application? In other words, is it faster for them to do it by paper and send it in so it is all ready when we submit our applications?

Transcripts - you tell the school to send it to PharmCAS -- see the website for PharmCas transcript's address, you download the one page to be attached from the website also

LORs - if you do it online, your professors will get an e-mail to send it electronically to PharmCas...yes, electronic > mail always

You need to print off the PharmCAS form for your transcripts and send that to your schools that your requesting your transcripts from. Read the PharmCAS website and it should tell you how to do that. Your school(s) that you attended will then send your transcripts to pharmCAS. As for the LOR's, I would use the electronis option. PharmCAS will send your recommenders the form through email and your recommenders will then email that back to PharmCAS. They should do this before you submit your application. You can submit your application at anytime however, you do not need to wait for the LOR's or transcripts to come in first. PharmCAS will update everything and once your file is complete they will submit it to the schools. Read the PharmCAS website! Hope this helps!
