Application review??

This may sound like a dumb question, and I apologize if it is - do medical schools review applications once ALL materials are available, or as they come in? For example, if I were to submit my primaries (PS, prelim. info), and my transcripts and LORs were on their way, would DO schools wait until they receive my transcripts, LORS, secondaries, etc. to begin looking at everything?

They only begin looking over your app once everything is received.

What expresso said, but some schools may review your app prior to getting a DO LOR. Those schools specifically say they require such prior to acceptance. I do know of two schools at least that do review apps prior to MCAT.

Also, just an fyi getting a secondary doesn't necessarily mean your app was reviewed at all!
