Application Timeline - Help!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
AMCAS can verify before your MCAT score and LORs. All you need is your transcript and primary app filled out.

1) So I can still submit my primary application on June 1st even though I will not have completed the MCAT nor will have had my LoRs processed?

2) My Pre-Health Committee will be holding my Personal Statement and transcripts on file. Can I submit the PS and transcripts without their help?

3) Also, once my committee sends AMCAS my letters of recommendation and the committee letter, how long does it take for AMCAS to process this?

1) Yes, you can submit June 5th with everyone else even w/o you MCAT and LORs. Schools will not look at your app though till those are in.

2) Yes, you can, and must, submit your PS and transcripts w/o any evolvement by your committee. The committee just has them so they can look at them when writing the letter.

3) No sure on time, but I would guess a day or less because they are not going to look at them, their computer system will just need to recognize they have been submitted.
