Hi everyone! I notice that there are a lot of threads about people's stats and which schools they applied to/interviewed at/got acceptances, but I couldn't really find anything definitive about the application process.

I'm personally making this for record keeping, but feel free to jump in and talk about your own experiences! I'll be updating this as I go, and hopefully it'll turn out well!

All of my LORs were submitted in July
Transcript mailed out: 8/15
Submitted OptomCAS application: 8/20
Transcript received: 8/21
OptomCAS application verified: 8/22
GPA calculations finished: 8/22
OptomCAS application mailed: 8/29
Supplementals sent: ~9/1

Thank you for putting this together! I'm curious about the transcript/GPA deadline currently. Looks like yours were very fast. Do they only calculate GPA after you've paid the fee? I read the FAQ's on the OptomCAS site and it didn't specify, but I can imagine they wouldn't bother with that until you paid. The other reason could be that they wait until all transcripts are received to actually do it. I have a few different schools sending them and the last transcript was just received today.

I received an email from OptomCAS the day my app was verified and it was titled "Your OptomCAS Application has been Verified and GPAs Calculated", so I guess you have to submit it AND you have to have your transcripts in.

Also, in order to e-submit you have to tick off a bunch of boxes that you checked that you filled out all the info and sent your transcripts and got your OAT stuff, and then they ask you to pay, so you can't submit without paying. Hope this helps!
