Application Tips with Apply Point: Stay Consistent

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
As you submit your secondary applications and being preparing for interviews, keep in mind that you'll want to stay consistent with how you present yourself.

Some of the interview questions will be like ones you answered in your application, so review your application to stay on message. The most important thing to remember is that every answer you give should include a story about one of your experiences or something you've learned, even if the question doesn't outwardly demand a story. (For example, "Why medicine?").

Confirm also that your social media profiles align to the person you're presenting in your application. Anything that the admissions committee sees should only develop their understanding of the person that they know from your application, nothing should surprise them!

While we're talking about interviews, check out our webinars (we have one devoted to medical school interviews) or contact us for a consultation.
