Hi everybody,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I take the MCAT this Friday and plan to apply the first day possible in September for matriculation in Fall 2010.

My question is how long does it normally take for podiatry schools to respond once you have submitted an application? My wife is an attorney and needs to take the Bar exam for whatever state we end up moving. Obviously, the sooner I hear back the better considering that the bar exam is only offered twice a year.

Ideally, I'd like to know some acceptances or at least have a good idea of where I stand by Thanksgiving. Does anybody think this is realistic?

Hey , you should def do that . i submitted the application the first day they opened it on the website... within a day or two all schools contacted me for interviews .. so no worries!!

yeah, if you do it right away I would expect to be contacted, interviewed and accepted with 3 to 4 weeks, maybe sooner. I had a scheduling conflict but could have been finished at DMU within 2 and a half weeks and i applied sept. 15th

if you turn it first day possible (which I did), you'll hear from new york and barry within a few minutes of submitting it. Within about 1-2 weeks, you'll hear from all of the other schools for interviews (when you interview, you'll get the interview results within about a week).

Wow, that is crazy how fast they are! I was thinking December/January if I was lucky.
