does anyone know how to update applications once they have been submitted? I will have grades to add in a week. Also, I would like to add one more school. How do I do this?

I was planning to just send the 3 application services (AMCAS/AACOMAS/TMDSAS) my updated transcript showing the new grade for summer class. You may also need to update the grade in the record of course work taken.

yea i was wondering about something like this as well.

i will need to send my schools a transcript after my fall term that i am about to embark on. i am retaking 5 classes that i did really poorly on, and hopefully my gpa will shoot up quite a bit.

please correct me on this, but i am assuming, that in jan, (when my grades come out for my fall term) i would request my college to sent transcripts to all the schools i have sent secondaries to. since there isnt any way to just send 1 updated transcript to aacomas and then have them resend it to to the various med schools. correct?

im hoping i at least get a few secondaries with my crappy gpa at the moment... to even stand a chance later.... 😳

I am also curious about updating AACOMAS. Is it possible to update AACOMAS once your application has already been submitted?

You have to call them and or email them.. and be persistent in trying to contact them or else they will not contact you back.

Even if the application has been sent off to the school and I have recieved secondaries, will sending it to AACOMAS still get it updated at the specific schools? Or do I have to update it with the specific schools?

i would think you would have to send things directly to schools on your own.

I recently updated my AACOMAS with my MCAT scores and I get a notification in my designation section that a revised version has been sent out a week later.
