Hey guys!

I am a little bit confused.
I am half way through my sophomore year in college and was wondering when is the best time to apply for med schools? I hear spring semester of junior year then I hear senior year...?????

You can't officially submit the primary application until June, so you can't technically apply in the spring semester of your junior year (although you should be prepping for MCAT/getting application materials together in that time). If you want to enter medical school in the fall right after you graduate, you should apply in the summer following your junior year. If you want to take a year off, you apply in the summer following your senior year.

If your school has a pre-health advisor, I'd suggest scheduling a meeting with him/her so you can find out any school-specific requirements (aka if your school has a pre-professional committee).
