Hey guys,

just wondering if its normal to get an email from applicationstation.com asking about a background check b/c you've been accepted to a school that requires one. Is this the website the schools use in affiliation with ADEA?

Just wondering if its a scam or not?

It's not a scam. It's normal to get right after you've been accepted to one of the schools that use it. I did it back in December, so I don't exactly remember, but I think it's called certiphi.

Yup, I got that one too when I was accepted to Tufts on 2/15. It's required to be accepted to the program. 🙂

It's been a little while, but I believe certiphi sends you the results and you have to agree to let them send out the results to your school. Just make sure your school has received the results a few days after you agree to the release.👍
