Applied late this cycle! Not hearing anything yet = rejection?

Hi guys,
1st time poster here! My stats are average and below cgpa 3.36 sgpa 3.27 DAT 20/21/21. I apllied 1st time this cycle kinda late too. I have not heard anything from 9 schools I applied to yet. Does it mean rejections?

What schools have you applied to? Some schools are still handing out interviews. However, majority of them are pretty much concluded.

I applied to Boston, Roseman, NYU, MWU-Iil, Howard, Creighton, USC..that's all I can remember now. The problem is I took most of my pre-req at a 4 year state college, and later transfer to UH. My gpa over there is 3.67, now my gpa at this university is 3.09. That would make my over gpa 3.36 according to aadsas! I was wondering if my grade is the major hold back. I am trying to get back on track for school now

I think Boston, NYU, and USC are still handing out interviews. I don't know about the others though. :/. You may still have a chance, but I'd start prepping to reapply again next year? Try contacting the schools and show them that you're interested; maybe that'll bring your chances up.

I recently got an NYU interview. Most are done though. How late did you apply?

I applied pretty late, right around Dec! Finishing up all of these 2nd application right around Jan. I know I have very slim of a chance this round, but I just wanted to push my luck a little. Still nothing so far, no rejection, no reply...(((

Are u in dental school right now? Would u mind share ur stats?

Yeah I'd gear up for next cycle. Never say never because crazier things have happened, but the mediocre stats + late app = slim chance. It's no worries I think you have a good shot if you get your stuff in the first week of June. Get your things together because opening day will be here before you know it. 🙂

Yeah, I am trying to update and beef up the application a bit. I graduated this summer with a probable gpa of 3.45. I hope this would show adcoms that I find a way to turn around. Let's see what's in store. Thanks guys
