I am apply pretty much all over the United States. Not really concerned with a particular location, just being accepted to PT school. Is this abnormal?

There are about 250 PT programs in the country. If you apply to all of them, then yes that is abnormal. Apply to 10 and you should be fine.

Lol, no I mean they are spread out all over the United States, not literally applying to each one. I have to be George Clooney to do that.

Lol i applied to 5 schools within my state but then i applied to 4 other states as well. I think it is really good if you apply everywhere because some states are harder to get into PT school than others. And its only for 3 years so i applied out of state because i wanted to experience something different while not being tied down to anything but school. Best of luck to you!

I don't think it is abnormal. It entirely depends on your personal situation. Some people choose to apply to one area/state because of personal preference, family, or financial reasons.
I would be more concerned about choosing programs that are in line with your own priorities. I chose to apply places with strong programs that match my learning style/goals and are located in places where I can live happily (and, therefore, perform better). Location was not my most important factor either.
Good luck!

You don't necessarily have to "mass" apply, just apply smarter. Apply to affordable, practical schools that may meet your minimum requirements. 3 is too low to risk a whole year of waiting, and anything above 10 seems a little too high (unless you have money to blow).

Good luck!
