Hi there,
Can someone advise me on this please. I submitted my ERAS application, and then was going to apply for programs. However, my LoRs and MSPE, which I submitted to the ECFMG, are not scanned and uploaded on the ECFMG website yet. Then I heard that I should wait until the LoRs appear on the ECFMG website before I submit my application to the programs.
Any ideas on what should I do?
Thanks

EDKO

i know nothing about the process for foreign grads, but i know pently of US med students who submitted their app without LORs up. i would think it better to at least get some information in the programs' hands so they can at least start to consider you.

Good advice. I applied without the LoRs as I figured that the application deadline is still months away.

No interviews yet but at least two of my LoRs show up in the queue on OASIS. You can log into OASIS and check under ERAS and residency token to see if your documents are listed. My other three are still somewhere out there. The ten business day delay in uploading documents by the ECFMG is just brutal.

MSPEs will not be released until November 1st to programs anyway even if they have been uploaded by the ECFMG so you shouldn't worry about that.

Thanks a lot for advise.
