Hey everyone.
So I just took my MCAT got my scores back and am wondering if I should apply now or wait till I retake and get my scores back in September.
I have 3.65 GPA , my MCAT was 497 and I am only applying to DO schools ( ARCOM, OSUCOM LECOM and Pikeville and Debusk are the ones that I am trying to apply to).
Is it better for me to wait till I retake or should I go ahead and send in my applications right now?

You can apply to only one school where you don't want to go that way your application get verified. Once your MCAT score comes back you can add more schools. Do not take MCAT till you are confident you will get >500.
Your GPA looks good but how about EC.

Retake, but dont actually take till you are scoring better on full lengths

I think it depends. Your GPA is good, but your MCAT is not great. I think you could get lucky this cycle with DO schools if the rest of your app is well-rounded and you apply broadly. However, if you retook the MCAT and scored 500+ you would most certainly have more luck. It really depends on how the rest of your app looks.

Retake.
With that score, only school in your list you have a (weak) shot at is ARCOM I believe.

Retake, but only when you are 100% ready, even if it means skipping an app cycle.

I agree with @Magus5454 and @Goro. Don't retake until you are consistently scoring above 500. Skip this cycle if you have to.

Hey Guys,
So yeah I'm definitely going to retake my MCAT; I know that my score is not competitive. I was just confused about the AACOMAS and if it would hurt me to wait that long. As for EC, one of the many reasons that I pursued medicine was that I had an interest in rural/ underserved medicine as I come from a state that has many rural or underserved areas so I started an organization on campus to bring awareness about the need for healthcare providers in underserved areas of our state. I volunteer at a free clinic as a triage volunteer as a part of this. Also, I currently work as a health unit coordinator at a local hospital. Other than that, I am currently doing research with a professor at school and teaching Sunday school at church

OP, add VCOM to your list. They tend to prefer higher GPA's and look past weaker MCAT's. I know someone with a 497 starting OMS1 with me on Monday, however he may have applied with a 3.97 for all I know.

MCAT retake probably in order though. GL!
