Apply or wait another year?

I'm really confused if I should apply this year or wait until next year. Please help!
I have completed my primary and didn't submit it yet because I can't make up my mind.
My cgpa = 3.78 and sgpa = 3.66 (I have taken several advance courses)
I have good extracurriculars. I have been also working full time for a year. so I have been managing 40 hrs of work/week + full time student.
I have been shadowing a physician for 8 months (200 hrs). I volunteer for 2- 3 programs one of them being an active Breast cancer advocate (register for mammograms, teach self-examination etc). I have also volunteered at a hospital. I have 1.5 yr of research experience and I'm currently working on my own research project. I have amazing LOR's too.
ONLY PROBLEM IS MCAT. I'm registered to take my MCAt on september 6th. I had to postpone it because I had a death in the family and I had to work full-time. Is it too late? What are my chances. PLEASE HELP!

Wait. Your MCAT scores are going to make your application so late that it will give you far better results to apply the first day apps are open next cycle than to apply this cycle. It is not worth trying to rush it this year when you might face the expense of reapplying next year due to how late your application is. The best thing to do with an MCAT that late is wait until next year to apply.

sorry to hear about your loss, that's unfortunate. September is really late. You should keep building your ECs and apply next cycle.

If you prewrite all your secondaries and are verified by the time your scores come out, you could easily be complete at all your schools by mid October. Being that your app otherwise seems to be pretty good, you could apply this year and probably get accepted, but it would be much safer and yield better results if you wait until next year.

It is fine to postpone the MCAT until you can do your best. Don't take it until you are really ready. A bad score follows you forever. Wait until next year to apply.
