For first time MCAT'ers, its usually best to submit AMCAS ASAP and give your scores when you have them. For you, I would just wait until you get your new scores (especially since at least one school confirmed that you would be filtered out).
Definitely have everything in your app ready to hit the submit button though. August isn't too terribly late (in Texas it would be, but that's another story).
