at the same school? I doubt it. I don't think a school will fill two positions with the same person, knowing that the student will probably not able to make both.
I don't know this for a fact, but is just the first thing that comes to mind. Specially because everyday there are more and more candidates.
Maybe if you could talk to an admissions officer some where they could orient you.
