Thinking of applying next June but I will still have courses to complete in the summer (nothing major just capstone and another graduation requirement)
Will it look bad to apply before graduation? I should be graduating magna sum laude so i dont know if i should wait so they can see that?😏

They will already see it before you graduate, also, it is more common than not for people to apply before they graduate undergraduate.

It won't make a big difference, just keep them updated as early as possible throughout the cycle with any new changes.

for traditional applicants isn't the norm for the most part to apply summer entering senior year?

I've heard of people doing it but I always thought it was looked down upon to apply too early? I'm not totally sure though

Maybe there was a misunderstanding. Most people apply >1year before they graduate, generally in early-mid summer (if they intend to be early). This is so, as @Brorthopedic said, the student can go directly into med school after they graduate. The cycle lasts the full school year after you apply. It's not apply in June and get in that same August, in case that was the misunderstanding.

I knew about the year cycle but I thought most people just took a gap year. Thanks for the feed back guys!
