I knew I would be able to finish all the prerequisites after two years, so I figured, why not. I was wondering what opinions you guys might have for me.

Stuff you might want to know about me from high school:
AP Bio: 4, AP Chem: 5, AP Psych: 4, AP English Lang: 4, AP Physics C: E&M: 4, AP Calc BC: 4, AP US Hist: 4, AP English Lit: 5, AP Enviro: 5, AP Stats: 4
1 year (6-8 hours/ week) of research during high school at Caltech (I haven't done any more since)

Major: Legal Studies (Strange I know... at the moment I am in a 3/2 Engineering program, most people do 3 years at my current school for some humanities and 2 years at Berkeley's engineering school but actually I am going to do it in 2/2)

I am leaning toward pharmacy, I am still partial to engineering since it was the original path I was going to follow.

Classes:
Science/Math
Gen Chem: B, Lab: A
Bio Ecology: A-
Multivariable: A-

My grades for this quarter have not come out yet, but I took Gen Che, Bio, Multivariable, and a Linear Algebra/Differential Equation class rolled into one.
I would pretty much just meet the prereq's. My GPA with everything is 3.78, just science/math: 3.5ish which I could probably keep up.

I would probably take OChem this summer or preferably during the school year. So how much trouble would I run into on the PCAT?
And finish the bio classes through the year and take an anatomy course the summer before (if accepted) to pharmacy school.

Would you guys say go for it? or my chances so slim, I REALLY should wait another year?

I did it in two years, actually 1 and 1/2 years. Problem with trying to apply in two years, is that its easy to maintain a high gpa, but its hard to meet the unit/prereq. requirement to apply.

If you are going to apply in two years to say cali schools and USN (nevada), they will focus mainly on your sci/math gpa, pre-req gpa, cum. gpa, and classes finished. So plan extremely carefully (i had to print out a spreadsheet of all what classes to take, in what order, and to what school's I would become eligible to apply within a specific timeframe).

If you can plan it right, by all means apply. Also, I strongly encourage you to look into USN (nevada). They have a low unit/prereq requirement, nor do they discourage 2 year applicants. However, their gpa requirements are a bit insane.....but you should do fine.

I don't suppose you can opt to borrow a friend's o-chem textbook, take the first part of the O-chem series during summer session, take the PCAT in October, and apply nonetheless?

Sure it's doable, but how are you looking with your extracurriculars?
