I wanted to know if anyone knew how to apply as couples in the match. I wanted to know if you would have to apply for the same specialty or could you apply for different residencies at the same hospital program. Any info regarding applying for the match as a couple would be helpful.

The nrmp website gives information about couples matching. Also you can find many threads addressing this issue by performing a search for couples match.

Basically, you don't have to apply in the same speciality or even to programs at the same hospital (i.e., there are couples where one partner ends up at program x at UT-Houston while the other is in speciality x at Baylor).
