applying before finishing B.S

This may be a stupid question, I'm sorry if it is.

Should I apply to pharmacy school before finishing your BS. I'm getting a B.S. in Animal Bioscience at Penn State. I have all but 3 of my PharmD requirements completed. I have 2 years till I finish my degree. The only reason I was getting a 4 year degree, is because I was considering both veterinary school and Pharmacy school (I can go either way with my major). If I decide I definetly want to go to Pharmacy school, should I start applying asap. What i mean....would it hurt me if I started applying now, just in case I dont get in on the first try, and contiue to do so untill my B.S. is over. Or would it be smarter to wait till i finish my degree.

I have one more year left until I get my B.S. in Chemistry. I applied this year, because I don't want to spend more money on tuition, since pharmacy is my goal. If you're not sure what you want to do yet, then I recommend finish your B.S. and then apply. If you are strongly considering pharmacy apply now, although for this year I think it's a little too late.

👍 I agree.

If you're sure you would rather enter pharmacy school than finish up your degree, then apply. It cannot hurt you, and you may learn how to improve your chances for later applications.

But, if you're not sure. A B.S. can be a great comfort while you are deciding; and it might improve your chances on admissions as well.

Well I think you can start applying to pharmacy school. ASAP is the way to go. If you get in that will shorten your years in school, The more you stay in school the more tuition you pay and the more loan you take unless your parents are rich!!!!! If you have all of the prerequisites I don't see why you cannot try. All I can tell your is you are good to go!!!!!
