Applying early enough?

It's probably early enough. Mid July to early August was about when I finished my secondary apps this cycle and it worked out pretty okay for me.

I am curious about this too. I have been told first two weeks of July is probably the tail end of "applying early" before the system is slowed down due to all the information being sent to amcas. I am wondering if any of this is true and if so when is the optimal range of applying early?

As the rejection letters keep piling up, I finally gave up on any lasting hope today and registed for the June 13 MCAT. I talked to a few admissions counselors and was told that my ECs and GPA were fine but that I needed to boost my MCAT and apply early. I am stressed because scores for the June 13 MCAT don't come out until July. Do you guys think that is early enough?

AHHHHH! I hate this process! Oh well....
Good luck to everyone! 🙂

i'm in the EXACT same position as you.. lots of rejection letters and retaking the mcat on june 13th as well ! i really think june 13th will be fine because alot of schools send you your secondaries without having your mcat score, and the ones that don't will send it out as soon as they get your score in july. most schools don't actually start looking at completed secondaries and applications until august/septemberishh i have heard..

GOOD LUCK studying again for the mcat.. how are you studying btw if you dont mind me asking?? (i hate this process too.. specifically the mcat:meanie:)
