Is that possible with the way AMCAS is set up now? I want to retake my MCATs (26P; 9-PS; 9-BS; 8-VR) but I want to apply to start med school in Fall of next year. Is it cutting too close to retake the exams in Jan or Feb of next yr?

It is not a matter of cutting it close.

1. AMCAS deadlines for most schools is Oct/Nov.

2. The last MCAT that will make it in time for this year's cycle is in Sept.

3. Think about it this way, if you take the exam in Jan or Feb, your scores won't be available until Feb/Mar, by this time most schools have finished interviewing for the class of 2015. 😕

4. Basically, it is way too late and if you are adamant about taking the MCAT on that date to improve your scores, then apply next cycle. :luck:
