i took a year off after graduation and am in the process of applying for residency for 2013.
i am wondering what the steps are, since i am no longer the med school's student.
i have to get a token from the school, but she is requesting my aamc id (which i have from 2012 eras but not for 2013 match since you are assigned aamc ID AFTER you get your token)...

so after the token, i would register at myeras, yes?

thanks in advance for the help

My AAMC ID was the same for both my med school apps and for residency. The same may be true for you. I think it sticks with you, so I'd give her what you have.

Your AAMC id stays with you, from MCAT to AMCAS to ERAS and beyond.
