Hi All,

I wanted to get your opinion on my chances of matching to a Family Medicine program.

Step 1 - 205, First attempt (2012)
Step 2 CS - Pass, First attempt
Step 2 CK - 210, Second attempt (2015)

I'm really shocked about my Step 2 score. I took multiple NBME's prior to taking the real thing and consistently got scores in the 230s-240s range.

I'm a FMG and have US citizenship, if that makes any difference.

Do you think externships will help my cause?

I would still apply fairly broad though. Probably 40 programs or more.
