Hi everyone,

I can't stop thinking about this so I'm just going to pose this here. Say I'm retaking a course in the summer and it will give my low sgpa a huge boost. Should I postpone my apps a month to show my better gpa or should I still apply as early as possible and update later? Which route would you suggest?😕

Thanks in advance!!

I think it depends on how many schools you plan to apply to.

If you're applying to say, 6 schools, submit June 1st and update the schools with the significant grade change.

If you're applying to 36 schools, I'd have to think a bit harder about when to submit.

Overall it shouldn't make a huge difference, the sGPA boost will be more important than the edge of getting your app out June 1st.

Can you send an update anytime?

I would say do this: for the schools with lower stats, submit june. For reach schools, it's in your best interest to bring that gpa up, so July sounds better. I may have to do the same .
