Hello there,

I am a Canadian who will be applying to DO schools.
Is it too late if I submit my primaries after August 27? I have everything done except for my personal statement because I am quite busy with the MCAT at the moment.

Without it being openly said, that standards for Canadians seem to be higher for applying to DO schools. Since only a few schools are open to Canadian applicants, you'll want to put yourself in the best position.

Your low verbal score is a trend and a little concerning but it shouldn't deter you from applying. Retake and send in your application, but make sure this retake kicks butt all around. Aim for at least a 9/9/9 so that you have a shot.

With the somewhat (but not very) late application, you'll want to make sure that you apply asap so I'd suggest that you start putting some ideas down for your essay.

Others know more about the verification process and how to submit the primary and still save time. Hopefully they can provide some insight.

FYI, DO schools also care about the number of repeats and you can expect this to come up in an interview.
