Applying MSTP at Case AND CCLCM

Hi All,

Quick question to those who applied to the CWRU in previous years: if I am also interested in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM), should I have two separate Case entries (MSTP and MD) on my AMCAS primary?

That being said, you will be asked to choose which of the three programs you want to apply to on the secondary, so I'm not sure it really matters very much what you mark on AMCAS. I think if they don't charge you extra to check both boxes on AMCAS, just go ahead and do it. If they do charge you more, pick one of them and then check both boxes on the secondary. Logically, AMCAS shouldn't charge you more, because it's all the same school. Not that I'd put it past them though. 🙄

When I applied last year I only selected the MSTP option on the AMCAS but was then able to apply to both on the secondary. If the AMCAS is going to charge you extra to select the MD as well then select just the MSTP option.
