I am taking the MCAT on september 7th. Do you think I have time to figure out how to apply to DO schools and apply right after the test? I have a 3.9 but the last time I took the MCAT I did not do well. I really appreciate your advice.

It is possible since some schools interview well into the first trimester of the year. You would have to realize you would be entering the race at the very end of the application season. If you have all your other ducks in order, and you do well on the MCAT, you could be fortunate to be accepted. Best wishes.

I'm going to say no since I know a quite a few people who were complete in October and still got admitted. You would have plenty of time for an interview in Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb which is the bulk of DO interviews. Just have everything else ready to go.

What was your first MCAT score?

I thought you had to report the score if you have taken the test in the last 3 years.

So regardless of when you apply your first score will be seen anyway.

IMO better to apply early and update with a better MCAT than to wait until October/November and apply.

Does it take a lot of time to apply? I do not even know where to start yet. I thought it would take too much time to apply while I was trying to study for the MCAT.
