Hi There!

For those of you applying this cycle and those w/ experience, does it really take upto 4 to 6 weeks after E-submitting the AADSAS app before AADSAS forwards the complete application to the schools? I'm sure it depends on how early/late you send it and how much load they have to work with. I sent mine this morning if that helps.

Also, would taking the DAT in mid August be too late? I'd rather be prepared than rush it and risk doing poorly, but I would be grateful for any guidance based on your experience.

I appreciate your help!

No, it usually doesn't take 4-6 weeks. Usually transcript and grade verification are what can hold your application back.

If you already have your transcript in before you submitted, then it shouldn't take more than a week to get verified (depending on how much work they get), and once it is verified it should go out as soon as the next Monday.

Taking it in August is not too late. A lot of people take the DAT in August and it is way more important to do well on the test than to submit a few weeks early.

Hey guys, I am doing the same thing as well. I am planning on submitting my application sometime next week. I am also taking my DAT in August. Good luck to you. Hopefully, it all works out.

That's pretty late, but I guess it's better to do better on your DAT. However, you should have planned better and started studying earlier.

You were right. I just got an email from AADSAS stating that they have submitted my app! That was fast. But what was odd was that the GPA section hasn't even been completed. I thought they would do that first before sending it off, but that section doesn't matter. With the app out of the way, now I feel like I can really focus on the DAT!

---------Correction-----> Misread an email from AADSAS in response to a Q I sent them a while back. My app hasn't been sent out yet (just in case others worry about their app).
