I want to go to Harvard, USC, or University of Arizona, which is in my state, Arizona. I plan to use a BSN (bachelors of science in nursing) to get in. Should I get a different degree? Like a regular science degree? Should I forget about harvard and focus on U of A and USC? I am only a student in a community college. I plan to go into the nursing program there. I think I might as well go into the nurse practitioner degree after nursing school. What do you think about it?

Get a degree in whatever you like.

Why would you get an NP degree and then go to medical school? What is so different about them that you feel the need to go NP and then leave NP?

I just want to go just in case I did not get in to a medical school. If I did not have a chance to get into medical school I would do this instead. Is U of A a good school to go to? I might want to be a PCP or an Allergist/Immunologist.

Given your choices, I would go to Harvard. What is not to like about Harvard? Sure, the weather in Boston is pretty cold in the winter, definitely not Arizona, but if those three were my options, I would definitley go to Harvard and buy a warm winter coat.
