This is slowly becoming a nightmare.

The icing on the cake: MY UG college does not have anything for me under Physics Lab....I took the course but the university has no record of me taking it. I had to have taken it to graduate with Bio... I overlooked this on my AMCAS app and it doesn't have it either. I am royally screwed. I called the school, and they are less than willing to help....soooooo, I am thinking about taking it over at a local community college....

My question is: CAN I APPLY TO MED SCHOOL IF I HAVEN'T FINISHED MY PRE-REQS?

I have already applied, and am getting emails about incomplete applications. I don't want to have to go through this again next year, but if I have to, I will.

i applied and still had several prereqs pending. i just listed them on the 'current/future' section of the amcas application. have you filled out schools' secondaries? most of these give you plenty of room to list the courses you are planning to take. to my knowledge, you can definitely still apply but probably have to contact each school via mail/phone to make sure you have the info in your application.

when filling out amcas type the name of the course i.e general physics and also [with lab].

here's how it'll look for the amcas entry: general physics [with lab].

hope that helps. hey worst case scenario-provide med schools a university published course description that says lab somewhere on it. peace.

Hey,
I am planing to apply and have two courses pending. That shouldn't even be a problem. I contacted a lot of medical schools and my own uni and they said I have to take it before med school starts, but its not an issue as far as admission is concerned. Hope it helps.

Warmest regards.

i am applying right now without physics lab and havent had a problem at all. good luck

I applied and was accepted with 7 courses pending (Org2, Org lab 1&2, 3bio's and a bio lab).
