Applying to MSUCOM

Hi all! Just got msucom's secondary and wanted some opinions on whether it's worth filling it out.

In the papers, they suggest having everything in by mid-october because by december most of the class is filled.

In order to be complete I would still have to hunt down some professors to get them to fill out their LOR forms.

Considering this isn't my first choice school and I was applying more from reputation, what would you do? Worth filling it out and being complete in Mid November (at the earliest)?

did they give you a particular date to submit your documents by? I got mine yesterday and my recommended deadline is in 10 days. I wonder if it's just for the secondary or for sec application plus LORs?

Hmm, in my email I got this: Your application submission deadline is November 27, 2006. And in the guidelines, it said to return all materials, so I'm thinking secondary and LORs.

I didn't see anything about 10 days. Sorry.

As an MSU undergrad, I've spoken to a few people here at MSUCOM... if you want to finish the secondary, the hardest part about getting everything in quickly is the recommendations. If it's not worth it to you to bother your recommenders again or you think that they won't take the time to really answer the questions, then dont do it. I know that it is difficult sometimes to ask someone who already took the time to write you a letter to do a completely separate evaluation... so basically i would just look at whether or not its worth it to ask them again and then wait for them to fill it out completely. If you would rather spend your time concentrating on schools you really want to go to, then don't use up that time finishing MSU's.

Oh yeah, and you have to turn it in by the date stated in your email. I believe that they give you a month. But obviously, the sooner the better.

Can someone applying to Osteopathic Schools, but NOT MSUCOM, fill out the Evaluation Form for the 2ndary application?
