I just noticed that some schools ask to list all other dental schools I've applied to.
Would I be at disadvantage if I'm applying to many schools? It's hard for me to comprehend the purpose of this question being asked.

I've been asked this question twice in my interviews this year and I have always answered truthfully. I think they want to know the types of schools you're applying to, as opposed to applying randomly to many different schools.

I doubt it, it certainly didn't affect me negatively during my interview cycle (and I had to additionally disclose all the schools I had applied to the previous cycle, which there were a substantial number of).
