I have a dilemma. I really want to apply to Nycpm for this cycle but I wont be done with physics 2 and orgo until July 5th 2014. I also will be taking my Mcat in April or May of that year as well. Should I apply for Fall 2014 or should I just wait and apply for January? I was also I was wondering if any other schools offer January admission?

No other schools offer a Jan class besides NYCPM.

What year in school are you? Are you a non-traditional applicant (traditional means the typical 21-24 year old student who isn't applying to pod school for a career change)

Applying after July 5, 2014 is way too late and isn't possible. I believe the application system shuts down in June. Also, NYCPM may be full by end of June, I believe it was full by the end of June this last cycle.

You could potentially apply before you finish your orgo and physics 2 classes. But that will obviously hurt your application and at the most, you will get a conditional acceptance dependent on you finishing up those classes with a grade higher than a C. So unless you shine in other areas of your application, NYCPM will accept applicants that have completed those classes over you.

Why are you taking physics and orgo in the summer of next year? Can't you fit it into the spring semester?

As far as applying for January, that is completely doable. However, just so you know, you will not graduate sooner than if you applied in 2015. The Jan. class takes 4.5 years to complete, and the tuition is the same as the regular fall 4 year class. But there is obviously the cost of living in NYC for half a year to take into account.

Im currently a Junior almost a senior .Im going to take physics 1 and orgo in the spring. So it wouldnt be avisable to apply for Fall 2014 ? And by the time Im officially ready it will be more appropriate to apply for Fall 2015 then.

So you are going into your senior year of undergrad correct?

Why aren't you taking Orgo 1 and Physics 1 in the Fall of this year?

Just curious since that's the normal schedule. In a lot of schools, they don't even have Physics 1 and Orgo 1 courses in the spring.

In the end though, I will wait until 2015. There is no need to rush all the classes and get a bad grade in them. Orgo and Physics in the same semester is no joke. It's not just the classes but you will have Orgo Lab and Physics lab which at my school was once a week for 2-4 hours per lab, so that's 6 hours a week just for the labs. Not to mention, you want to take the MCAT in May... I have been there, taking hard science classes while studying for the mcat was brutal.

Now if you do choose to apply for the 2015 cycle, I would hold off on taking the MCAT until the summer of 2014, you can take the mcat at the end of aug or sept after you had the summer to prep for it.
