i work along side a tech who is applying to medical school but my husband who is a dermatologist has told me its very competitive in the states to be anything but a family practioner or pediatriacian. she says she is not interested in pharmacy because it bores her and she has worked at the pharmacy for 4 years. her complaints include no respect as a pharmacist, drive thrus, lousy pay, and standing on her feet all day. i will be graduating with my pharmd in less than 5 months, since i am not yet a pharmacist i was wondering if there is any pharmacist here that can give me some advice to share with her. i just think she is not cut out to be a doctor and since she has 5 years of work experience as a pharmacist this will suit her better. Please help
thanks in advance.
