With that GPA, you should shoot to get above 20's on all the sections of the DAT.
 
just to be frank, the GPA is a tad on the low side, IMO. I second the opinion of getting over 20's on AA/TS/PT to help make up for it, and it could only help you to get in some really good extracurriculars. Can you claim minority status? Hate to open that can of worms, but in CA especially, that can help you.

However, don't let what anyone says here deter you from pursuing your goal.

i'm not going to tell you not to apply and you shouldn't listen to anyone but yourself or your most trusted friends or advisors in terms of making that decision.

There are no guarantees in this game, and you can choose to look at it that you have the same chance as anyone else. It's all in how you present yourself. Even if you think you don't have a chance this year, going through the process will give you experience that will serve you next year.
