Hey guys, I'm already in college but thinking about applying to St John's. I know they don't accept transfers, so I guess I'll have to apply as a Freshman.

On their website, it seems there are so many different applications. Am I applying as a freshman or a transfer into the Pharmacy program?

If someone could link me to the correct application, I would really appreciate it.

I applied to St. Johns, Rochester but not as transfer student. Still havent heard anythign from them. Just got mail mentioning that we got your Pharmcas and supplemental application and we will let you know once admission committee will make any decision......Not sure about any link or thread started or people are using for the Fall 2011 Pharmd for St Johns!!!!!!!!!

Wrong school. It's St. John Fisher in Rochester. Completely unaffiliated...I hope you got the name right on your person statement.

That is affiliated and on Pharmcas list

You're thinking accreditation. St. John Fisher in Rochester, NY is an accredited four-year school of pharmacy. They are, however, completely unrelated to St. John's in Queens, NY. You mentioned you were applying to St. John's in Rochester, which is impossible. I wanted to make sure you knew the difference between the two schools and applied appropriately.

Yeah, I am talking about St. John's in Queens. I should have stated that in my opening post.

I still haven't figured out how I should apply. 🙁

Guess I'll call tomorrow since they will be open, and ask.

Same here on the drop down of the "Your Academic & Extracurricular Interests" there is no section that says pharmacy so i didnt know what to put.

Let me know what you find out because i called several times and the lady at the office said no transfer students accepted so idk what to do 🙁

you can't go back to freshmen status. if you have over 30 college credits taken at a school (not AP credit) then you are seen as a transfer student. St John's doesn't take many, if any transfers. it doesn't sound like you would be a match for st. john's at this time

above post is correct, they only take kids out of high school. it is near impossible to get in if you have a bit of college. they may take 1-2 kids from transfers but thats about it. good luck

Hey guys,

Since St. John's is a 0-6 program I dont think they accept transfers. I heard they mostly accept high school students.

But does anyone know if students who recieved their B.S. degree/pre-pharmacy program at another school, can apply to St. John's Pharmacy program?

Yes you can aPply but te chances of you getting a seat is very slim. They will only take transfer if someone drops out of the program. I emailed them a few years ago and this is what they told me.
