Does anyone know if an applicant has to apply to TMDSAS or can they still apply through AADSAS? I ask this because on the 2011 Dental School Supplemental Information for provided by AADSAS under each texas school theres a note which states

Note: Texas residents applying to a Texas dental school must apply through the Texas Medical and Dental School Application Service (TMDSAS). NON-TEXAS residents applying through AADSAS should not submit a secondary application through TMDSAS.

Any ideas on this? Thanks

If you're a Texas resident, only use TMDSAS to apply to the Texas schools. (And AADSAS to apply to the rest of the schools.)

If you're NOT a Texas resident, DON'T use TMDSAS. Apply to all three Texas schools via AADSAS. Only Baylor has a supplementary application.

Which part(s) of the two sentences is not clear?
