Applying to too many schools

Nova supp. App. is asking me to list all the schools i'm applying to. Does it hurt my chance to list many other schools? Do they know from AADSAS how many schools i've applied?

Best not to lie on anything they send, if they find out you only put half of the school you applied to they may think poorly of you
