Is it true that I can't apply if I hadnt taken second semester O-chem? They won't give any offers to people if they havent had one semester...like a contingent offer?

Not true. They will put contingencies on your letter of acceptance that need to be met before matriculation....what you need to get done, and if not, kiss the acceptance goodbye, more than likely. Yes, you can apply without taken pre-reqs, but you shouldnt do that unless you have to.....in my opinion.

My acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of Physics II this semester.

I applied while I had Orgo 2 in progress. I got accepted being contigent that I passed orgo 2 with a C or better. My B+ satisfied lol. Don't apply with too many prereqs in progress. Give or take you should be in the same range as orgo 1 grade wise or better.

Depends on the school. I applied without organic 1 or 2. I was rejected at LECOM because of it. UNECOM wouldn't give me a secondary until I completed the first semester, which I completed in December. As of yet, I STILL haven't gotten though.😡 Not that it matters anymore. I just feel scammed. 😀 Anyway, I was accepted at PCSOM and DCOM with the offers contingent upon completion of the classes and interviewed at NYCOM but withdrew post-interview. Most likely you will be fine, but you may want to check with some of the schools to be sure. The majority of them are fine, but there are a few that are funny about that stuff. Good luck!

COOL. Thanks for the Info. I'm hoping AZCOM, but I'll apply to a few others. I posted the same question on this forum twice . . . for some reason it wasnt showing up on my end when I posted it the first time. But anyway, THank you for you help.

as long as you finish it before matriculation, you should be good.........
