I'm a new member and I had a question regarding retaking courses. I am a Canadian undergrad who will be entering my 3rd year in September. One of my realistic goals right now is to match into a US D.O/M.D school. I didn't finish with a stellar mark in Orgo 1 (D+) and have yet to take Orgo 2. My idea is to take Orgo 1 again and Orgo 2 next year in summer school. That summer is also when I plan to apply to schools, so I was wondering if I'm able to apply when retaking a pre-requesite course and taking a pre-requisite for the first time. Will this be a disadvantage for me, or can I only apply late into the cycle once my marks are in?
