Applying without committee

Hi Everyone!

I hope all of you applying are getting through everything ok. I wanted to ask the age old question. I'm taking my exam next Wednesday and I don't plan on going through committee because it would take about a month or middle of July to get everything in. My stats aren't that hot so I want to be as early as possible. My pre health advisor basically scared me and told me he spoke to 3 students who didn't go through committee and did not get in. Can he really verify that this was because of committee...? Am I shooting myself in the foot here?

Probably not the reason. Plenty of people get in without a committee letter.

Didn't go through committee, got into dream school. I called every school to verify it was okay, they said yeah sure whatever 🙂 feel free to call yours if you're unsure!

It's not as big of a deal as the committee makes it sound.
